Benji Baker is an interdisciplinary artist who has resided in and worked out of Chicago, USA, since 2018. He received welding training and an AWS certification from Chicago Women in Trades in 2023 and is currently a BFA candidate at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He works in lens-based media and sculpture and in video archives. His practice is focused on queer-transgender histories and the urban landscapes he encounters in his travels.
