This (World/Book/Body) is not permanent

I want to talk about permanence + visibility
(Or, more rather, its nonexistence)
Light is visible but not permanent
The sun will not last forever
But I will always be visible in its light
My body is not permanent
Nor are any of its visible markers of transgression
(even if they are now costly + grueling to undo...
but they're not permanent)
... but that impulse to transform? I think humans will have that forever
